Email Blacklist Check
Result
How it works
The server queries each blocklist using its DNS zone (reversed IP or domain + list zone) and reports listed, not listed, or unavailable for each list — never a guessed result.
Safeguards & responsible use
- Only public domain names are accepted; internal names (.local, .internal, …) are rejected.
- Queries go to public resolvers, never to internal DNS.
- Per-client rate limiting and query timeouts.
- Only blocklists whose usage terms permit this kind of querying are included; lists that time out are reported as unavailable, not as clean.
Frequently asked questions
My IP is listed — what now?
Fix the cause first (compromised account, open relay, missing rDNS), then follow the delisting procedure on that list’s website.
Does a listing on one list matter?
It depends on the list. Major lists affect delivery widely; minor ones may be used by few receivers.
