Email DNS Propagation
AvailableCompare MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC answers from public resolvers in several regions to see if your email DNS changes have propagated.
Email DNS Propagation
Result
How it works
The server sends the same queries to a fixed list of public resolvers and shows each answer and remaining TTL side by side.
Safeguards & responsible use
- Only public domain names are accepted; internal names (.local, .internal, …) are rejected.
- Queries go to public resolvers, never to internal DNS.
- Per-client rate limiting and query timeouts.
Frequently asked questions
Why do resolvers show different answers?
Resolvers cache records until their TTL expires. Old answers disappear once the previous TTL has elapsed everywhere.
How can I speed up propagation?
Lower the TTL well before a planned change. After a change you can only wait for caches to expire.
